The President of the Republic of Kosovo and the First Gentleman as well as delegation arrived in Brunei Darussalam on 4th May afternoon, for a Three-Day state visit.

This is the first State Visit of Her Excellency Doctor Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu and Mr. Prindon Sadriu to the country. Since establishing diplomatic relations in 2017, Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Kosovo have maintained friendly relations, especially educational cooperation through a scholarship programme awarded to 14 Kosovo students since 2001.

Present at the Brunei International Airport to welcome Her Excellency were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism as Minister In-Attendance; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs; the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces; and the Acting Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force.​
